Community Partnership

At Tor School we have been awarded some amazing grants from local businesses which enables us to enhance the lives of our young people.

National Grid STEM grant

National Grid have awarded us a STEM grant for the past few years and our young people have appreciated the added equipment purchased with this amazing grant.

2023/24:

We purchased a laser printer, our young people have been designing and creating coasters.

2020/21:

This year our STEM grant contributed to the purchase of a car lift for our garage to enhance the teaching of mechanics.

Tesco 

A kind donation from Tesco was gratefully received. Food and toiletries were distributed to our young people and their families at the start of the summer break.

Twinkl / YPO

Twinkl provide educators with high quality teaching and learning resources.

Twinkl recently partnered with YPO, (Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation), to offer a prize for a draw for free resources. Tor School was lucky to be a winner in the draw:
