Travel and Transport

School transport is provided by the local authority for young people who live more than 3 miles from Tor School; this can either be by a taxi or a bus pass may be issued. 

• Tor School will submit the request for transport .
• The application will be assessed; this can take up to 10 working days.
• When the application has been assessed you will be informed about the transport arrangements.

It is the responsibility of the parent or carer:

• to make sure that the young person gets to and from the pick-up and drop-off points safely
• while they are waiting for the transport to arrive and after they have left the vehicle at the end of the school day.

We ask that if your child is absent from school that you contact Tor School on: 01458 258296 to allow time for transport to be cancelled.
