Mendip Partnership Panel
Mendip Partnership Panel is the decision making forum for all non-statutory work that we offer. The Panel is made up of representatives from all of our partner schools. (For Medical referrals there is a different process)
TOR SCHOOL OFFER:
We have a 3 tier system: Tier 1 – First steps, Tier 2 – Follow up, Tier - 3 additional support.
Some students may need to jump to steps 2 and 3 and we anticipate a change in schools practice to accommodate this shift from last ditch placement thinking to earlier requests for support and expecting outreach and school empowerment/challenge being a part of the new model.
Tier 1 – First steps:
- Meeting
- Discussions
- Observations (report)
- Sign posting
Tier 2 – Second steps:
- Solution circle including pupil views – include date for follow up of actions
- Tor Website toolkits and booklets (drop down boxes with strategies)
Tier 3 – If still an issue:
- Formal coaching and mentoring
- Working with key staff – planning/strategies etc..
- Upskilling TAs/support staff – time dependent on need – with the pupil/modelling to adult
- Partnership groups at Tor school – part time
- Staff training after school – small focus – inviting schools to Tor
- Support reintegration and managed moves
- Attendance to multi agency meetings
- Support for school staff to set up systems (eg. Playground activities, classroom systems/peer support etc..
- Work with pupils – advocate for them

- Support for whole staff school policy development/audits
