When I left secondary school, I was unsure what I wanted to do as a career. I started volunteering at a local junior school where my Mum worked and soon realised that I wanted to work with children. I have worked as a teaching assistant since 2015, working in 3 different schools. I also worked for Children’s Social Services as a contact supervisor but, although I enjoyed my time in the role, I missed working in a school setting. I’m really excited to be working in the Primary team at Tor School. It is such an amazing and caring environment which provides children, young people and families with the support they need.
